BEST HYDRATING PRIMERS

I wanted to talk mention my favorite hydrating primer for todays post! Being that it is January and here in NC it's thirty degrees, our skin needs to be prepped and hydrated well! These are just a few favorite hydrating primers, my go tos at the moment. Sometimes after applying moisturizers you need extra hydration, you do not want your foundation to look dry, powdery or dare I say it......crusty (I hate that word). I have yet to find a drug store but remember you can get any of these in travel size and would be more affordable!

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face : This is one of my favorite primers and the most luxury primer I own! This primer is very thick feeling however not oily, leaves skin silky smooth! I have used this as a moisturizer during the summer time. Ohh yeah and this primer doesn't leave a sheen or glow. Now this primer has a nice sent , very crisp-clean smell. if you a person who is big into smells or sensitive to them -  face base also has a nice sent to it, very fresh.   Now this primer is on the pricey side but it is sold in travel size and its much more affordable!  Ohh yeah and this primer doesn't leave a sheen or glow.

MAC Strobe Cream : This is an oldy but a goody! I started using the MAC Strobe Cream before it became a big raven on social media and loved it for the glow it left on the skin! Because I have oil skin i tend to use more matte foundations and sometimes they can look to dry so I like to use a primer that has a glow. I like that its a healthy glow its not to much to change the consistency of the formula in the foundation and a little goes along way! Though it leaves a glow, if you have dry skin it wont actually moisturize the skin. I find it works better as a primer and only a primer!

Urban Decay Quick Fix : This primer is in spray form, you mist face a couple times before applying makeup! I don't have much to say about this primer other than its fresh hydrating and it smells like coconut! Sometimes after a applying my primer for the day i feel like it needs an extra boost or when I need more hydration I will use this. Honestly, I use it when I don't want to touch my skin and rub on a primer on haha....weird, I know.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel : This primer is also an oldy for me, I've used this primer for years now. I like it because its a moisturizer and primer in one! This primer is in a gel form so its light but hydrating! It has a tacky feeling when applied which helps the foundation adheres to skin and looks smooth. i like that it comes in a big size it will last you a while as well!

Sometimes i add and pull from these four hydrating primers but these are my four STAPLES that i wont replace! If you guys have any recommendations to add to the bunch let me know down below!
