Today's post is about the perfect red pout! I wanted to share the best red lipstick for the holidays, including different price points and finishes. The holiday season is the perfect time to wear red lipstick! It makes a statement and looks beautiful on everyone.
LIP LINERS
Pretty soft red color, not too bright. This lip liner is also on the sheer side, it is more of a warmer red. Works well with a matte lipstick over top. This is a great lip liner for those that find the red color to intimating or bright.
This lip liner is on the traditional side, you have to sharpen so something to keep in mind. Its a classic red color, very dry formula and can tug at the lip.
Pretty classic red as well just not as rich in color. Doesn't smudge or smear after its set. If anything its actually hard to remove so it's very long wearing! This is my favorite drugstore lip liner.
This pencil is the best of the best, the classic red cherry. Super long wearing, stays on when drinking and eating. You can also use this lip liner all over the lips like a lipstick. Truly is the best traditional red color, not too bright or warm. has a blue undertone which makes your teeth appear whiter.
LIPSTICKS
As the name implies definitely a bright red. This is one of my favorite because its super affordable! It is a lipstick so it is not matte has a shine to it, comfortable to wear. Now I will say if your drinking or eating you will need to touch up. This lipstick does transfer if you kiss someone!
This red lipstick is a more colorful one. It has pink tones mixed in with the red and can look pink or red depending on who is wearing it. For reference, it looks like a bright red-pink lipstick. Paired with the NYX RETRACTABLE LIP LINER.
This is a liquid lipstick so its very matte and its not going anywhere! If you doing like the dry feeling add the CHERRY GLOSS on top. I would pair the MAC CHERRY LIP LINER.
Nice sheer lipstick, has a nice satin finish and has a glossy look to it. This is also a good lipstick for the person who doesn't want to wear bright colorful red. Looks pretty over a matte lip liner or matte lipstick! Goes well with NYX RETRACTABLE LIP LINER.
A deep warm red shade as the name states. Has a satin look to it, very comfortable to wear. Can rub off in the center of the mouth so will need to retouch.
This lipstick is very matte without being a liquid lip. Goes well with the MAC CHERRY LIP LINER. I'd say this color is more of a traditional red, very rich vivid blue red.
GLOSS
Beautiful apple/ cherry red - I love this gloss! Comfortable gloss, not sticky. Really pulls any lip product together!
