Its freakin' 2019! What the duck! 🦆 I hope you all had a wonderful and safe new year. I spent the new year with my family at the happiest place on earth to be exact! °o° This was our first time spending new years at Disney and I must say there was no better way to bring on the new year! if you follow me on IG account, you probably got a little glimpse of the trip. @gabbbrielaa
At the beginning of every year, I like to write down my goals for the year. I don't like to call them resolutions - it puts too much pressure on yourself. So I like to set small goals for myself that lead up to bigger goals. Honestly, when you set one giant goal, it puts way too much pressure on yourself and is very easy to lose focus (happens to me every year lol) 😛, then you get discouraged (basically setting yourself up for failure). Setting small month to month, or 3-month goals etc. Will lead you to achieve your bigger/long term goals. OH! Remember to celebrate and reward yourself!! You are worth it! Because that beautiful feeling will make you want to push yourself with your goal.The feels of success fuel your ambition! So whatever your goals are for them.
MY GOALS FOR THE YEAR
I will eat healthier / cook healthier meals
I will actively blog all year long
I will have another successful year with GLAM by GABBY
I intend to read more
I will travel more
I intend to do more editorial, colorful looks
So whatever your goals or resolutions are don't get discouraged or put too much pressure. Don't set your expectations too high initially. I find that writing my goals down on paper helps me focus on my end goal (in the long run) you are also able to write the steps needed to be taken to reach your goal!
