NATASHA DENONA PALETTE REVIEW & MAKEUP LOOK

Updated: Mar 9, 2018

I wanted to do a blog post on this palette - never done a blog so idk how this all sounds and looks haha - here goes nothing . . .

The Natasha Denona Lila Palette - I think this is the most expensive palette I own. Natasha Denona is the big rage in the makeup community, her eyeshadows are known for the insane pigmentation. Well the Lila Palette is a new edition to her collection.

The palette has 15 shadows, 4 matte, 6 metallic, 3 duo-chrome and one chroma crystal finish. Just looking at the palette you can see it's purple and mauve tones. All the shades compliment each other which makes the palette a no brainier, however you have every day colors and fun colors when you want to kick it up a notch and have fun.

Getting more hands on with the palette - the pigmentation is 10, the shades blend easy but not into each other and each shade is unique with a buttery- creamy texture. You can also go from day to night with this palette.

Although I enjoy the palette, i feel that more transition or "blending" shades are needed. Every time I use the palette I find myself reaching for another palette to blend the shades with. Out of the four matte shades only two of them are light (to use as blending shades) to place in the crease. However both shades are mauve-cool toned (they actually look the exact same), so if you want to warm up the look you will have to go into another palette or two. I can look over that because I have a makeup problem haha and have to have it!!!

Honestly it is a really pretty and great palette, if your someone who doesn't like to experiment with bold, playful colors i would say skip this one since you might not get a lot use out of it and its an espensive palette; but if you're a makeup lover and like pops of color i would totally check it out! I also filmed a video using this palette, let me know if you would like to see that .
