Holo Blue Warm Tones
April 16, 2018
I was inspired with a holographic eye-shadow from the Wet-n-Wild Comfort Zone Eye-shadow Palette. The blue holographic color just caught my attention. The blue shade has, like, a red undertone, when the light hits it looks a teal blue. When the lights not shining on it had more of reddish mauve tone.
Base :
For my base I started with using the Becca First Light Primer, since its still cold here in NC, lol, and I gotta keep that skin hydrated. I wore the Huda Beauty Foundation and added some Maybelline Matte & Poreless to lighten it. To brighten the eye area, I used a combo of the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer and on top it, I added the LA Girl Pro Concealer. Bounced that out with my damp beauty blender & to set that in place, taking the Cody Airspun Face Powder. I let that sit while I fill in my brows.
Eyes:
Primed my eyes with the MAC 24 hr Eye Base then I applied some concealer to clean brows & any discoloration on the eyes. The star of the show - the Wet-n-Wild Comfort Zone Palette - let me just say this is easily one of my favorite drugstore shadows. I own three of the palettes from the brand & I cant put them DOWN. I dipped a little into the WnW Rose In The Air Palette from them as well. Applied some Maybelline Stiletto Liquid Liner & some Wet-n-Wild Skinny Mascara. To tie the look together I applied the Ardell Double Wispies.
Brows:
I outlined the brows with the Bh Cosmetics Brow Pencil, then filled in any areas I missed with some ABH Brow Powder. Finally, I set the brows with the ABH Clear Brow Gel & dusting off the under eye powder I left baking.
Face:
Going back to the face set the entire face using the Coty Airsupn Powder. I did both contour and bronze the skin - I started with the Kat Von D Shade & Light Palette then blended the Model Co. Bronzer. I low-key LOVE blush so you'll never catch my without it so for today I used the ABH Radiant Blush Kit. Moving on to highlight I cant put this product down & its the ABH x Amrezy Highlighter I talked more in depth on the highlight in my Monthly Grabs.
Lips:
To finish off the look, I used my Favorite Lip Combo at the moment. I line the lips using the Jordana Rose Crush lip liner, then I add the Milani Lipstick in Naked Matte. And for some reason I was feeling a glossy lip so I added the Korres Lip Gloss.
